He Delights in Me

I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses and the voice I hear falling on my ear the Son of God discloses. And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own.

The Creator of the universe, the Savior of mankind, my Deliverer and Redeemer DELIGHTS in me? Love me, yes; but delights in me? That seems intimate and more than I could ever expect of God Almighty. I was not easily convinced of it, until He showed me. (Ask Him! He will show you, too!) He also calls us to delight ourselves in Him. God desires that kind of intimacy with His children. Oh what a sweet God we serve! As if saving us from death were not enough, He offers a personal, intimate relationship. “He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.”
